My two best items this week come from social media, a trend that is only accelerating as time goes on. What’s going to be interesting is tracking whether the ones that make it to DRTV generate the same level of interest — and whether that interest translates into orders. Indeed, figuring that out is the challenge of our time as I believe we are in the midst of another industry shakeout. I predict that when we look around in a few years, the only marketers we’ll see are those who understand how to monetize social media.
